How often are Idea Starters updated
Idea Starters are updated once per year. At that time, any discontinued product will also be updated. Throughout the year there may be additional price increases or product that has been discontinued. Please review current price and specification guides for the most up to date product options.

What files are available to download on Idea Starters
Each Idea Starter will be available to download in Revit, Sketchup, AutoCAD Blocks and a CET Favorite. There is also an overview typical page, SIF file and Bill of Materials PDF to assist with budgetary pricing.
Why are prices not shown for Allsteel Partnership products on Idea Starters
Allsteel has integrated partnership products including Zilenzio, Normann Copenhagen, and Corral. Customers are directed to designpublicgroup.com for all partnership product pricing. These are no longer included in Idea Starters as of November 2021. If you have questions on partnership products please contact your local representative.
Why are some Idea Starters missing a Revit family file
When launching new Idea Starters, we strive to have a Revit family file associated with every typical. Occasionally a Revit file will be delayed due to symbol creation. If you would like to see a collection of all our Idea Starters that contain a Revit family, please click here.
Why do the planning tool files Revit Sketchup AutoCAD CET not contain finishes
All our planning software files are saved with white/gray or undecided finishes. This is to allow the designer to apply their own creative palette or pull in the customer brand specific to their project.
