Allsteel Showcases Intentional Community in Newly Redesigned Fulton Market Experience Center

Experience Center Demonstrates  Power of Design to Foster Connection and Creativity

Chicago, IL. June 9, 2025 – Allsteel, a leading voice in workplace innovation, unveils its bold new vision for the future of work: “The Intentional Community for Connection & Creativity.” Introduced during Fulton Market Design Days 2025, this immersive showroom experience explores how thoughtful design can foster deeper relationships, spark innovation, and nurture individual potential in the evolving workplace.

“At Allsteel, we believe great design goes beyond furniture—it shapes culture and empowers people,” said Natalie Johansen, Vice President of Brand Marketing for Allsteel. “Our Experience Center is a reflection of that belief, showcasing how intentional design supports creativity, collaboration, and connection.”

A Multi-Zone Journey Through the Future of Work

Set across 13 interactive zones in Allsteel’s Fulton Market Experience Center, the concept illustrates how workplace environments can better serve people’s needs—socially, mentally, and professionally. Key themes include:

  • • Socialization & Casual Collaboration
  • • Wellness & Focus
  • • Mentorship & Leadership
  • • Culture & Adaptability

The journey begins in a welcoming communal café designed to encourage spontaneous interaction. From there, visitors move through a curated series of spaces—each one expressing a distinct facet of the modern workplace. Signature zones such as Social Crossroads, Living in Beta, and 360° Leadership explore the intersection of design, culture, and human experience.
